In August 2024, one of the biggest names in electronic and dance music history will perform in Galway for one night only, but not in the location most people would think.

As part of his eight-date tour of Ireland and the UK, Norman Cook, better known by his stage name Fatboy Slim, will make an appearance at Galway Airport on August 9.

Promoter MCD Productions is holding pre-sales on Ticketmaster Ireland till Friday at 8 a.m. Regular tickets will go on sale on Ticketmaster here an hour later at 9 a.m. It is anticipated that tickets would run you about €60.

Doors open at 7:00 p.m. The “Loves Summer” tour by Fatboy Slim is scheduled to begin in Dublin’s Fairview Park in June and go through August.

The DJ will perform eight dates, including stops in Cornwall, Manchester, Scarborough, Bedfordshire, Glasgow, Galway, and Halifax at the end of the tour.

Norman Cook’s CD traverses a wide range of genres, from hip-hop to reggae and jangle pop, showcasing his ability to create inventive and imaginative music with catchy hooks and catchy sounds.

You’ve Come a Long Way, Baby was more than just a dance album; it was a true phenomenon that saw enormous critical and commercial success and peaked at Number One in the UK album charts. It gave rise to the era-defining hits “Rockafeller Skank,” “Gangster Trippin,” “Praise You,” and “Right Here Right Now.”
